Sarah Palin on the Dead Ends of Cap and Trade.

Posted on 14 July 2009 by Mike

While reading the Washington Post today a name appeared in the Op-ed section I never thought I would see, “Sarah Palin.” It seems that the soon to be abjuring Governor has fired one across the bow of the Obama administration on its proposed cap and trade bill (aka Cap and Tax).

From the blogs.

What is fascinating about this is that on cue and almost Pavlovian the responses poured out from the Left and Right. One saying she is an idiot, the other cheer-leading her on.

Now, I am not going to be snotty about the Governor’s op-ed. Hell, I actually commend her on it. But more numbers, references, and ideas should have been entered. Her points were correct but in order to show how devastating Cap and Trade really is, throw in a little Heritage Foundation, with a sprinkling of CATO, and wash it down with some American Enterprise Institute. Make your detractors work to prove you wrong, don’t make it easy for them.
