Think that the media can’t sink to even new lows? Well finally if you ever needed proof that they are “press-titutes,” here it is. From the Politico.
Washington Post publisher Katharine Weymouth said today she was canceling plans for an exclusive “salon” at her home where for as much as $250,000, the Post offered lobbyists and association executives off-the-record access to “those powerful few” — Obama administration officials, members of Congress, and even the paper’s own reporters and editors.
Now remember this is the mighty bastion of reporting integrity which brought down a Presidential administration. It is truly a pitiful sign of the times that a once proud media organization, such as the WaPo, has been been reduced to street walker status in order to raise revenue and gain favor amongst the Obama administration.
