Inhofe: “cap-and-trade is dead in the water” and “we are going to get the clown (Franken) from Minnesota.”

Posted on 01 July 2009 by Mike

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Ok.) after stating the cap-and-trade bill will be “dead in the water” upon its arrival in the Senate, then proceeded to call his newest colleague, Al Franken, a “clown.”

Whether the Senator’s observations on Franken are right, wrong, or indifferent, you can bet you bottom dollar what will be concentrated on by the media is that Inhofe called him a clown. Not educating the populace on what is the more important issue, that cap-and-trade is a very expensive tax.

From the Blogs.

Gateway Pundit | Senator Inhofe: “It Looks Like We’re Going to Get the Clown From Minnesota”

And so it goes in Shreveport | Inhofe: Waxman-Markey Dead in the Water
